When it comes to mechanical gaming keyboards, AJAZZ branded mechanical keyboards have been wonderful and I have raved about their quality for its inexpensive price.
But how does their A.JAZZ AJ139 G Pro 4K Wireless Gaming Mouse compare to other wireless gaming mouse?
First, let’s start off with the positive. I love the all white look of this mouse.
It’s made with lightweight ABS and there was no doubt that AJAZZ was trying to create one of the lightest mouse on their arsenal which weight is important to certain gamers (some liking very lightweight mouse and some heavy, so it’s actually subjective).
The mouse also features a 700 mAh rechargeable battery and comes with a PixArt PAW3395 which offers 26,000 DPO, 650 IPS and 50 G acceleration rate and 1000 Hz polling rate.
It also features six DPI level settings (400 to 3200) and each come with a different color and last but not least, it features a HUANUO micro and Kailh encoder to ensure up to 80 million clicks and also extra Teflon feet for smoother movement.
I also like the addition of the USB receiver and the adapter for those who want to go wired. It does come with a wired USB-C cable as well.
And last, it’s upgradeable to 4000 Hz polling rate (utilizing a turbospeed 4K wireless receiver purchased separately).
So, what’s the negative?
Well, I tend to use the teflon feet because I have a mouse tray that extends pass the bottom of my desk utilizing a certain type of smooth matte feel. Well, the mouse couldn’t run on it. I’ve never had a mouse that couldn’t. And this one couldn’t. It struggled with it and for me, I was unable to take advantage of this mouse for my gaming needs.
Not to say the mouse is bad, because those on a smooth desk or have a certain gaming mat, may have no problems with it, but for my needs, I tested it on my gaming mat and my gaming mouse tray and I couldn’t get smooth movement. It was janky as the mouse would struggle to get even the most basic movements on my gaming mats.
Overall, while the A.JAZZ AJ139 G Pro 4K Wireless Gaming Mouse didn’t work out for my needs. It doesn’t sour me to the point I don’t like AJAZZ products, because I have had more positive experiences with AJAZZ products, granted mostly all mechanical keyboards. But for this mouse, it may work on surfaces for some people, but for me, it didn’t work out as I hoped.
