The One about the KLIM Muse – Wireless Gaming Microphone

There are many Asia-based companies that caters to gamers, but one company headquartered in Chiang Mai, Thailand is Klim Technologies.

The company sells gaming chairs, gaming keyboards, gaming headsets, gaming mouse, gaming desks and more and for the most part, their products are well regarded.

One product that I am reviewing is their KLIM Muse, a wireless gaming microphone.

While it’s customary for those to have mic setups for podcasts or game streaming, for gamers or podcasters looking to go wireless, KLIM Technologies offers a wireless gaming microphone known as the KLIM Muse.

So, how this mic works is that the microphone has a rechargeable battery that works up to 8 hours. The mic has an on/off button and has cardioid pickup, active noise cancelling and can provide a clear and stable connection up to 10 meters from the 2.4GHz wireless USB receiver/dongle.

The mic also has RGB lighting with a gradient (ie. green to cyan blue), purple, etc.

The mic fits perfectly on its holder/tripod and it also comes with a pop filter as well.

For the most part, this works perfectly for those who need to fit it in their work (works great for interviews) and also streaming. But it’s important for those who want to use this wireless mic that you’ll need to make sure you charge it.

One thing I wished the mic had is a percentage meter of how much battery power is left. This would be a gamechanger because I was doing a video game stream on YouTube and while I was playing and talking, I had no idea the mic shut down, until I saw a message that the mic was off.

I instantly had to stop recording, even trash the video which I put a lot of time into and switched to my wired gaming mouse, because the KLIM MUSE had to charge.

Another thing is that while it does feature ANC, if you have a fan in the background, you are going to hear the fan (please note: I have this issue with my wired gaming mics as well).

I really do like the KLIM Muse wireless gaming microphone and it does work very well, but for most wireless devices, from my ear buds, to smartphone, to videogame console and even my wireless keyboard and gaming controller and wireless DSLR Speedlight, there are battery level indicators. I hope a future release of KLIM Muse (2025?) will feature a battery level indicator.

But overall, a wonderful release from KLIM Technologies, but add a battery level indicator and I would give this 5 stars. But for now I give it 4!
