I absolutely like the underglow that I saw in Japan, but that’s in Japan and in the US, California laws are strict on lighting and for the most part, I wanted LED’s in my vehicle but didn’t want to attach anything to the engine. If anything, something easy and can be controlled via mobile app or switch.
The FCPVHOY Smart Led Interior Car Lights is what I was looking for. Everything is powered via USB and that was perfect as I can plug it into my USB adapter in my car easily.
The cables are just long enough so you can put the LED’s under your dash and under the seat or somewhere it can stick on.
The LED bars come with sticky tape, but you get extras of the tape just in case it stops sticking and I have one under the dash in the passenger side, in my driver side, towards the bottom side and for the rears, because I don’t have any place to stick them under the seats, I have them going to the plastic of the rear seat. Tucked the cables easily and it was ready to use.
First button to turn it off and on and you can cycle through solid colors, you can also do various effects and also have it set to change with the music.
It’s important to check the rules of your state when it comes to LED lights. As some colors or flashing lights may be illegal or some that can only be used when the vehicle is not in motion and don’t interfere with the vehicle’s onboard diagnostic system. (For the most part in California, Red and blue lights are illegal indoors/it can’t be seen through the window)
But for the most part, knowing this, I like the fact that you can choose your colors and I can’t use the other varieties because it may include red or blue, so I just use the primary solid colors and it’s not too bright either. It’s important to note that I don’t use this in motion either, so for my needs it works.
But for those looking into these lights, while they will work in Asia and other countries, for those in the US, just know your state laws before committing to these interior LED lights.
Overall, the FCPVHOY Smart Led Interior Car Lights is easy to install and easy to use. Recommended!
