The One about Major Craft’s top-of-the-line bass rod, “Day’s360”

Since 2002, Major Craft メジャークラフト, based in Osaka, has been manufacturing Japanese fishing products and has released their products overseas via the name CEANA.

Created by Moritsu Yoshio, who left Daiko Co., Ltd. (Daimaru Kogyo), Hirose Tatsuki (a rod planner specializing in lure rods) and Kawakami Satoshi (in charge of grips, advertising and web design) teamed up to form Major Craft and with four people handling all operations and manufacturing overseas, they raised the bar for low-priced products in the market.

The company would expand with a factory in Vietnam in 2011 and in 2012, to celebrate their 10th anniversary, released their 10th anniversary model “Crossride”.

By 2013, the company expanded into “ZONER Series” of hard lures and officially entered the lure business and by 2014, released their metal jig “Jigpara”.

They would release their economy models such as Basspara, Solpara and Trapara and higher end Master Grade models such as Arrival, Solcia, Huntaway, Pandora and Alexander. And even whent further with their top-of-the-line models known as Major Craft Works (MCW).

Major Craft has had a long presence on YouTube for over 15 years and has over 61,900 subscribers.
