When it comes to tea, The Toni Glass Collection is one of South Africa’s premier tea brands.
Prior to drinking this tea, I had to look into finding out about who is Toni Glass. Toni Glass ran her own marketing and advertising business and after four years, decided she wanted to go into tea.
Using full-leaf teas from tea gardens and estates where the leaves are processed in a way to retain their integrity.
Her gourmet approach to tea focuses on tea drinking as a slow, indulgent experience.
While Toni Glass offers tea in silken bags, loose leaf, the company also offers tea in capsule pods.
And I decided to try the Green Apple Rooibos Herbal Tea. This version is the capsule version which comes with 15 capsules for around $13.50.
I’m a big fan of rooibos tea from Southern Africa. Rooibos, which means red bush is a tea that is earthy but I have tried vanilla rooibos from Soth Africa and now I’m trying Toni Glass’ Green Apple Rooibos.
The tea definitely has a green apple taste with the smooth and earth flavor of the rooibos. The tea is caffeine-free and definitely great for those who love fruity, earthy tea.
