When it comes to LED Aquarium Lights than easily hang on your aquarium, the HiTauing LED Aquarium Light is great for those who want to program their lights based on a time schedule!
First, let’s talk about what I like.
For one, the light has seven colors, during the daylight, the lights white, you can set auto turn on or off in 15-minutes. Brightness is auto simulated from sunlight to sunset and also a night effect.
I really like how this light has a digital clock that can be adjusted but while this is a full spectrum light, this light has been incredible for my live plants.
The light is IP68 waterproof and it’s an incredible light.
Is there a downside? It would be setting up the time can be a bit confusing. It can run a bit hot as well but fortunately the light does have groove heat dissipation.
Now, I have a light similar to this from another manufacturer and it died within two months. Because it did not handle the water dissipation. So, make sure you have it on top of the glass or a see through covering, and not in direct contact with water. Many claim waterproof but somehow, condensation easily develops. So, now I use a small plastic/plexiglass to prevent the light from getting any contact with water.
But overall, I do like this light. It provides a lot of light, having a scheduled timer is a plus. But overall, it’s a solid aquarium light and I do recommend the HiTauing LED Aquarium Light!
