In 2020, during the Pandemic, working and staying at home, I had the chance to do a lot of aquascaping and for a year, I did great and it was a great stress reliever. But once we had to go back to the workplace, my time to focus and work on aquascaping had changed.
But I started to know my java moss and other plants started to lose its greenery even with CO2 and fertilizer. And when the plants died, especially if you have such a large aquarium, it becomes too much to handle and can change the chemistry of your water and a hassle to clean. It can also harm your fish.
Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to aquascape but I do keep up with water changes and while I miss my live plants, I have since changed over to decoration plants such as the CousDUoBe Aquariums Decorations Plants.
I like having plastic versions of dwarf hair grass and ferns that look like the real thing but aren’t, but knowing I don’t have to invest so much in fertilizer, CO2 and plant supplements and seeing my baby platys and baby guppies utilizing it to hide or eat from.
And I like the fact you get around six pieces for under $11. These work great for 10 gallons or more.
Overall, I do recommend the CousDUoBe Aquariums Decorations Plants.
