The One about the Homesick New York City Scented Candle (2020 Version)

When it comes to candles, homesick is a home fragrance and lifestyle brand (founded in 2016) that believes in bringing joy to people’s homes to help them feel closer to the people, places and moments that matter most.

I had an opportunity to try their “New York City” candle made of natural soy wax blend, which is hand-poured in the USA.

I have previously tried “New York” but New York City is different and features top notes of Bergamot, Lemon and Grapefruit, Mid notes of Jasmine, Concrete and Water Lilies and Base Notes of Oakmoss, Sandalwood and Musk.

But overall, Homesick manages to capture the positive scents of NYC (so no, it’s not going to smell like Hudson St./Gansevoort St., Broadway/32nd St. or Greenwood Heights) and it’s a solid product.

It’s a very pleasant and elegant smell and I like it a lot. The Homesick New York City Scented Candle (2020 Version) may be a bit pricey at $34, especially for a smaller candle with no lid. But it does smell very good, It’s not too strong and its definitely worth checking out!
