The One about the patisserie quatre feuille in Hiroshima

Located in Hiroshima Station is patisserie quatre feuille, which is owned by Moriwaki Osamu.

Morikawa graduated from confectionery school and trained at a major confectionery maker in Hiroshima and served as chief and store manager at various FC-developed confectionery stores.

In 2006, he opened patisserie quatre feuille which operates under the motto of making sweets that increases the deliciousness of the ingredients that makes you want to eat it again and again.

Morikawa has said that patisserie quatre feuille makes sweets that are made with the smiles of their customers in mind and thus they can feel “a little happiness in your daily life”.

The one thing is seeing the Basque Cheese, Eclair Custard, Cattle shoe, Cheese Brulee tart, Hiroshima Cream Lemon Pudding, Basque Cheese Pudding, the Minami Roll, Petit Cheese and the many cakes.

The Hiroshima Lemon sweets are the most popular as it comes from lemon farmers in Setouchi in Okayama Prefecture (east of Hiroshima Prefecture).

Moriwaki grew up with that nostalgic taste and wanted to incorporate with his sweets at patisserie quatre feuille.

I decided to check out a lemon sweet and the Cream Marche.

And its pretty much a cream puffy with ice cream.  They have a choice of custard, lemon and chocolate and I went for the lemon.

It’s absolutely delicious!

As for patisserie quatre feuille, it’s only at Hiroshima Station, so if you are in the area, definitely give the place a try!
