I have used a capo and I have used a tuner, but a capo tuner? It was kind of hard for me to picture that in my head, so I had to check out the JOWOOM Grabtune Acoustic Guitar Capo-Tuner!
Right out of the box, I have to say I was quite impressed with the overall capo. It’s sleek, well-made and doesn’t feel cheap. In fact, this capo is made of zinc alloy metal and the LED’s indicate A-G and the last one is # (sharp).
I tested to see if each strum was correct and it was able to detect chords correctly. the RGB LED shows you Blue for very low/low distance to pitch, green is exact pitch and red is high/very high distance to pitch.
According to the instructions, this capo/tuner should be more precise than a regular tuner, so it has been narrowed down the tuning range into a +/- 1.5 percent to increase accuracy.
And let’s say, you don’t want to use it as a capo, but as a tuner, you can do it that way too!
If you leave it on, there appears to be an auto-off. Whenever you want to use it again, switch it off and back on again. No problem!
The capo-tuner is charged via USB, so that part is easy. With each charge, the capo is to last up to 7 hours!
Personally, this is a pretty awesome capo/tuner and high quality in terms of build and durability.
The JOWOOM Grabtune Acoustic Guitar Capo-Tuner is highly recommended!
