The One about the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum Part 3 (A sombering experience)

When you proceed to the rooms from “Before the Bombing of Hiroshima” and what transpired after, you see the devastation left behind after the atom bomb was dropped.

While I was there looking at all this, there were surviving American World War II veterans there.  Looking at the faces of everyone, you can still see the sadness and anguish after seeing the destruction.  But also learning of the importance of the Peace Memorial Museum and how it wants to create the message of “No More Hiroshima”.

Everyone then goes to the next room, where the gathering of people watch a video from survivors of the atom bombing of Hiroshima, hearing their stories of how they survived but also how many of their family and friends didn’t.

It was neverending sadness, but these testimonials, as much as they were sad, they also featured people who have hope that this would never happen again.

But I have to say that at this point, the look on everyone’s faces, was a feeling of sadness.  Many of us from all over the world were feeling nothing but sadness.
