The One about TECHKEN’s wireless PS4 controller

I have been looking into third party PS4 controllers, as anyone knows, proprietary console controllers these days are quite expensive.

I saw TechKen’s wireless PS4 controller and I hesitated because the positions and buttons may be too confusing but I figured, at under $33, it’s worth giving a try!

I have to say that pairing this controller was the biggest headache. For some reason, my PS4 would fail in trying to connect to this controller and after 30 minutes (I was about to give up), it finally detected and connected and establish it as a controller device ala Bluetooth.

But I was able to test it out on “Last of Us II” and “Death Stranding” and gyrosensor works, as well as vibration feedback and audio signa output. Touch pad works perfectly.

The only thing challenging was I would get the X and circle confused, as I’m still trying to get used to the button positions.

So, for the most part, this PS4 third party controller is working well. Granted, I was close to giving it a one star because of connection issues but I was able to connect the controller and for the price and how well it’s working, as a third party controller, I’m giving it four stars!
