The One about the BOBLOV C18 1296P Mini Camera Body Worn Camera

As a vlogger, I found numerous uses for the BOBLOV C18 1296P Mini Camera Body Worn Camera.

The camera allows one to control the camera via smartphone, you can also download files via wifi from the device to your smart phone and setup a time stamp. The camera comes with a clip to attach to the back, so you can attach it to your front pocket.

You can also turn off the record indicator for those who don’t want people to know the camera is recording.

The camerra utilizes a built-in 1200 mAh rechargeable battery with a charging time of 2 hours and you can get up to 3-4 hours of recording time with wi-fi turned off.

The BOBLOV camera shoots at 1080p, has a built in 64GB and can record up to 3.5 hours of video and audio and it’s easy to use and easy to access your files.

With a side button to power it on, hit the center button to record video or audio (you can use it to take photos if needed).

The camera records at five minute intervals with each full file (.mov files) being around 424mb and for the most part it works.  Plug in the USB to the device and to your computer, it will be detected and drag the files to your computer.  Note: This works on Windows 10, not so sure about the Mac OS, others are saying it doesn’t work with the Mac OS.

Personally, I like this device because I tend to like to record my travels to various countries and it can be a pain to hold my camera (with its tripod stick) all the time.  It’s convenient just to put this in my pocket and start recording and I can easily edit it with my favorite video editing software.

I am also utilizing it for recording my musical sessions, which I attach it to a tripod thanks to its include 1/4″ tripod thread at the bottom.  I have not had any video or audio issues with this device at all.

But for the most part, it’s a useful device.  For me, I just like how small the device is, simple to use and I can begin recording right away.

I haven’t tested this in the rain, and for the most part, it has worked well compared to my older GoPro 3, which was bouncing all over the place, because it clipped on a backpack. And also compared to my higher end point and shoot on a Joby stick.  While there are conveniences of walking short distances with it, your arm can get tired.  This one can be hands free.  You can clip it to your front pocket, lanyard, etc.  It’s quite convenient.

If anything, I think that vloggers can find great use with this camera device.  I can also see people trying to use it for other means (thus the reference to a spy cam).

But for my personal use, the BOBLOV C18 1296P Mini Camera Body Worn Camera works great for my needs and I definitely recommend it!
