The visual art museum teamLab Borderless has announced they will be reopening on June 8th.
There are going to be rules to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus:
Precautions we are taking
・Tickets have set admission dates and times.
・The number of guests inside the museum is limited to half or less than the normal number.
・Your temperature will be taken with a thermal camera before entering.
・Surfaces inside the museum have been given antiviral coatings.
・The museum is being frequently cleaned with disinfectant.
・We have increased the ventilation in the museum.
・The restroom hand dryers are not available to use.
・Acrylic shields are installed at the counters.
・Employees wear masks when interacting with guests.
(Some employees wear face shields.)
・Employees are being conscious about their health. They have their temperatures taken before coming to work and are required to stay home if they have a fever or other cold symptoms.
・If it is confirmed that a COVID-19 patient has visited the museum, information will be posted on the official website.

Requests to guests
・Please refrain from visiting the museum if any of the following apply to you.
– You have cold symptoms or feel sick or unwell
– You have returned from or traveled to another country in the past two weeks, or have had close contact with someone to whom this applies
– You have had symptoms such as fever or coughing in the past two weeks
– You have a fever of 37.5°C or higher when your temperature is taken before entering the museum
・Guests are required to wear a mask inside the museum (except for children age three and younger) and cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing
・Make sure to wash and sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizer and disposable vinyl gloves are available at the entrance.
・Maintain sufficient distance from other groups while viewing the artwork.
(Employees may speak to you about this.)
・Guests wearing unsteady footwear may not enter the Athletics Forest.
(Sneakers are available to rent, but we recommend bringing your own sneakers.)
Ticket refunds
・Your ticket will be refunded if you cannot come to the museum because you feel unwell.
