I have to admit that I was surprised that Head & Shoulders was planning to get into the hair styling area, aside from shampoo and conditioner.
But it does make sense. For one Head & Shoulders is a trusting brand name when it comes to helping people eliminate or control dandruff. And there are many people who have sensitive scalps, so it makes it even more convenient that the company now makes various hair styling products.
For this review, I am reviewing the Head & Shoulders Shaping Pomade (Medium Hold/Matte Finish). It’s has Pyrithione Zinc, so less irritation on the scalp.
The product is quite creamy, so it’s not a hard gel and there is no overpowering scent. It’s scalp friendly, no visible residue, dermatologically tested and easy to wash off!
It’s important to note that while this is a pomade, it’s a matte finish, so you are not going to get a wet look and it’s also medium hold, so if you need extreme hold, this product is not for you.
I do recommend it for those with a sensitive scalp, those with shorter hair, matte finish with medium hold.
Overall, Head & Shoulders Shaping Pomade (Medium Hold/Matte Finish) is recommended!
