It’s hard to talk about traveling, while staying at home, practicing social distancing and taking part in making sure I do my part in flattening the curve to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
If anything, I do appreciate my friends for showcasing the cherry blossoms from Japan, knowing I can’t be there right now. In fact, as they worry about how things are in America, I worry about them in Japan, seeing how the infections are spreading in Tokyo and other locations.
But I do hope and pray there is normalcy and those of us who enjoy and are passionate about traveling, will one day, be able to travel the world again.
But for now, let’s do all that we can to flatten that curve, wash our hands, practice social distancing and staying home.
So, for now…I’ll share my favorite hanami memories from last March/April in episode 100 of “Random Musings”.
