The One about the Chefbar Tea Kettle

I was looking to replace my current tea kettle with the Chefbar Tea Kettle but for those interested in this tea kettle need to know two things:

a) Its a bit small (1.2L), good for four tea cups (two big coffee cups)
b) The handle can get very hot! So, where gloves!

So, what I like about this tea kettle, for one, I like the spout, I like the overall look and the inclusion of a thermometer is a plus! It’s a really cool design! The Gooseneck Spout is very cool!

It’s small enough to fit on a electromagnetic surface and gas stove but one thing that bummed me out is how hot the handle got. One of the things that I love about tea kettles which I have used before, never had to wear gloves.

For the Chefbar tea kettle, I have to wear gloves as that handle can get super hot!

The other thing as mentioned, it’s small. Remember, it is 1.2L and not 2.7 or 3L. So, if you need a smaller tea kettle, this is probably all you need!

For me, I often have to boil water for my loose-leaf tea to pour into a carafe for work, so I need a tea kettle that is large to boil my water in the morning.

But overall, this is a very good tea kettle, but know before purchasing, it is small and the handle can get a bit hot after boiling.
