The Beatit B9-B-O Portable Car Jump Starter Booster (Battery Charger Power Bank Vehicle Emergency Kit) is probably one of the coolest battery charger power banks to own for many emergency uses.
For one, this unit allows for charging up to 5.5L(t) gas or 4.0L (t) diesel engine and other batteries up to 30 times with 600 amps of peak current and heavy duty clamps. It has reverse charge protect, short circuit protection, high heat over temperature protection, reverse polarity protection, over discharge protection, reverse connection protection and over current protection.
It’s easy to charge a battery, just connect the red clamp to (+) terminal and black to negative (-) terminal and then plug the jumper cables to the 12V jumping port and then start the ignition to your car. Once it starts, remove the clamps and you are good to go!
So, this is great for emergencies of charging a low (not bad) battery.
But it goes beyond that, during natural disasters, this unit can also be useful thanks to its 14,000 mAh Capacity battery which can charge phones, tablets and other devices via USB at 2.1 amps. In fact, you can charge an iPhone 7 times, a Samsung 7 Edge 4 times and jump start 30 times.
It also has 6-in-1 functions as an emergency jump start, USB quick charge, LED flashlight, Souse Lighting signal for help, a compass built in and a power extend.
The unit comes with a case, power charger, cigarette lighter and clamps.
The unit is made of fire-resistant polycarbonate, tested in temperatures of -4F (-20C) to 140F (60C) and has a 12V/600A Jump Port, 15V DC Power Input Interface, two USB 5V/2.1 Power Output, Power Indicator, Compass, Power Switch and LED Flashlight SOS.
As for what I do, in the past 3-4 weeks, I have been charging it. To ensure that the Beatit B9-B-O Portable Car Jump Starter Booster is ready to go. I tend to bring this a long whenever I travel long distances in my car.
But I do recommend checking out Beatit’s BT-D11 800A 18000mAh 12V Portable Car Jump Starter which is $15-$20 more.
But overall, this is a wonderful portable jump starter/battery booster power pack! It does come pre-charged and it’s fairly simple to use!
