I’ve written about how important it is for me when I travel around the world to always have a power strip or some charging device in my check-in bag.
I tend to travel with camera equipment, my laptop and battery chargers (for my cameras) and a tablet and every night I come back to the hotel, I need to charge my devices after a long day of shooting video or photos.
PowerJC’s Voltage Converter Adapter Universal International Power Converter (220v to 110v) is no doubt cool because it allows you to plug into three devices and also has three USB smart charging ports (2.4A).
Included is the charging device, plug and five adapters to make sure you have the right adapter for the country you are visiting.
The device supports all electrical equipment below 350W and has continuous power at 300w (350w maximum). If the appliance is higher and the system output power is exceeded, the device will stop outputting voltage.
You’ll notice that this device has a fan. This is an advanced cooling system that is utilized during high-power appliances. If it reaches 70 degrees, the fan will start and dissipate heat.
For the most part, this will now be my goto for international traveling. I’ve tested at home and it works but by any means it breaks down, I’ll revise the review.
But for now, I’m giving this a five star review! Definitely recommended for people who travel overseas or even domestically!
