For those wanting Norelco quality but at an affordable price, the Philips Norelco Shaver 9400 is the baby brother of the 9700.
The 9400 has the V-Track Precision Blades, AquaTec Wet/Dry for those who prefer to shave with a wet or dry face, you get 50 min. per 1 hour charge and has a 8 direction contouring system and three speed settings.
For those who want something better, may want to opt for the much better Philips Norelco Electric Shaver 9700 which has a Smart Clean System which lubricates, charges and dries with advanced UI, the 9400 one doesn’t come with those cool features.
But it’s also important to note that the interface for the 9700 is digital and much more expensive than the 9400.
The 9400 is for those who want a clean shave but wants to stay within an affordable budget as it comes with a SmartClick beard styler, adjusting settings are easy with the buttons on the sides and like other shavers, lift up the blade top to dispense the whiskers.
Overall, it’s a simple and really easy to use shaver and better Lithium-ion Power than my previous Norelco Shaver. Five minutes allows for one quick shave, but 1 hour of charging gives you 50 minutes. And there is an LED display for battery indicator as well. So, I really like this shaver compared to my previous Norelco Shavers.
It also comes with a deluxe case as well!
Overall, no complaints about this Philips Norelco Shaver 9400. Great shave, easy to use, easy to dispense with the whiskers, better battery and more!
