The One about the Panasonic Living Showroom in Minato

Next to Shiodome in Minato is the Pansonic Living Showroom.

Panasonic may be thought my many, especially in America, as an American company but Panasonic is actually a Japanese company formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1918, Panasonic was a producer of lightbulb sockets, then after World War II, would make radios and appliances and bicycles. And the company would become one of the largest electronic companies in Japan next to Sony, Hitachi and Toshiba.

While many would know Panasonic as a maker of for its televisions, another brand used by Panasonic to market outside of North America was National, while other brands used for their products in the U.S. were Technics, Emerson and Curtis Mathes.

And while many people use their products worldwide, in Minato, Tokyo, the Panasonic Living Showroom wants to show you how Panasonic can be utilized in your life, in your home and more.

While inside (it’s important to note that no photos are allowed to be taken), you can see how Panasonic products can be utilized in the home and not just for the present but also for the future.

So, may it be lifestyle-related, lighting or kitchen, bathroom or storage, no doubt homeowners will like what they see at the showroom, but most importantly, Panasonic gives people a chance to try their products and can order them.

Anyone can go into the showroom for free, there is a tour but the most part, you can walk in and test out many products inside the huge three-floor showroom and there is always an employee standing by if you need customer support.

It does get crowded during the weekends but as many couples and families are looking to integrate products and to try them out, it helps to have Panasonic Living Showroom.

The location offers workshops for adults and children and the Panasonic Living Showroom is open everyday at 10:00 a.m. except on Wednesdays.
