The One about the Acer Predator Gaming Utility Backpack

When it comes to backpacks to carry your laptop and gaming gear (or any gear), the Acer Predator Gaming Utility Backpack offers you a lot of space but also protection for your gear.

The case will allow for a 17″ laptop (or 17″ Acer Predator) and has a ventilated back panel and soft padded shoulder straps.

Top portion is the most sturdiest of the back pack with the Predator logo on top. Zipper is large and the kind that looks like it doesn’t break off on you compared to other laptop backpacks.

The front pouch features a padded front pocket with two vertical zippers with around 2.5″ space with 5 or so inches in height.
Inside the pouch (which seems 8 inches in height and width) are numerous pockets, four in the rear and a mesh pouch in the front.

Underneath is another zippered pouch that is around 9 inches in width and 3.5 inches in height. The zippered pouch also features a protective nylon covering .

Inside the backpack allows for two backpacks with a padded center divider and back. So, your laptop and gear is protected.

Side pockets are also zippered and are five inches in width and possibly eight inches in height. Typically, backpacks reserve the side to carry water bottles and you can actually do that with this backpack, but you can carry other gear such as cables and adapters in each side. I also like the fact that it’s zippered and has solid height, so you can carry larger beverages. Sure, this backpack is meant for tech but for those traveling and need to stuff a lot of snacks and beverages, these side pockets are perfect!

There is also a good number of cushion to support your back since you may be carrying a lot of hardware.

And straps are also well-padded. And also comes with a locking strap as well.

A big question that many people may wonder is if you can use this backpack for traveling overseas and can be used as a carryon. Most airlines require your carryon to be 22 x 14 x 9 max (45 linear inches). This backpack is 13.78 x 7.09 x 22.44 inches (43.31 linear inches), so it is carryon safe.

JUDGMENT CALL:

Overall, the Acer Predator Gaming Utility Backpack is perfect for use as a gaming utility backpack, for those needing a backpack that gives comfort especially when carrying heavier gear. I also can see this backpack as a multi-purpose backpack for other uses. But the size, multiple pockets and loads of padding for protecting your devices also makes it perfect for traveling overseas.
