When I was a college student, I surprised everyone in my class when I built a makeshift island. It was a lot of work, took a lot of time but I wanted to create something unique and different.
Needless to say, it was heavy and required help from my girlfriend and brother to help carry it into the room but when I see village dioramas, may it created with real land, plants or made of LEGO’s, I absolutely love it!
And when I went to the flower exhibit at Meiji Shrine, to my surprise, there were numerous village dioramas that were featured utilizing flowers and their branches as trees. Real soil, plants, rocks, etc.
