Having own a good number of COACH leather bags, I needed a messenger and also with a color I didn’t own.
So, the COACH Sullivan Small Messenger Shoulder Bag (Leather/Midnight Denim) was what I have been looking for.
The Sullivan features several pockets: two zipper pockets (front is 7.5 x 7.5 inches and the inside is 7 x 6.5 inches), credit card slot pocker and one mobile pocket, you can fit important things such as keys, books, cell phone, camera and other small items. [NOTE: Overall dimensions are: 10 2/4 (L) x 12 1/4 (H) x 2 1/2 (W)]
Otherwise, anything bigger and you would need to get a leather portfolio bag.
The COACH Sullivan Small Messenger bag features calf leather with a flap closure and fabric lining.
The size is 12 1/4 inches in height, 10 2/4 inches in length and 2.5 inches in width. The shoulder strap is a wide mesh crossbody strap that is 24″ inches long.
The flap has a magnet closure, not the strongest magnet (considering the magnet is the size of a dime) to keep the flap down but its oversize flap makes it all work.
Colors available are all black, all green, all brown (Mahogany), all orange, all camel, all blue and comes with a two-tone strap.
I prefer the two-tone color bags such as this Midnight Denim with dark blue/light blue, the others are black/saddle and black/green. The strap is not two-tone, just a full color strap, which works perfectly.
COACH logo is seen on the flap and on the leather hangtag.
Overall, the COACH Sullivan Small Messenger bag is stylish and for those who are wanting a shoulder bag that is not huge. Because the varieties of colors, may it be a full color bag with two-tone shoulder strap or a two-tone leather bag with a full color shoulder strap, you really can’t go wrong!
The bag is roomy enough to fit quite a few items, but for those who want to keep magazines, depending on the magazine, the height may not be high enough to fit the entire magazine.
But I use mine to keep my cell phone, keys, a small camera, my GoPro, batteries and memory cards along with a battery charger.
