I was talking to a friend about her year of living in Tuscany and the discussion of gelato frequently popped up.
I was so wanting gelato at that moment that I figured it was about time I tried the gelato that I saw at the local supermarket such as Archer Farms and Talenti.
Yeah, yeah….I know…American gelato is not the same as Italian gelato but damn…I was craving for it.
My friend Joey had to say, “You’re SO right about that. Gelato is best in its country of origin. Had gelato everyday on my recent trip to Italy. The “worst” there is even better than the best here.”
Can’t wait to travel to Italy and try for myself!
